I don't know about you but I think I'm in that 61 percent. Most everyone I speak with has an opinion on the matter. As a Healthcare Benefits Consultant, I can honestly say that I think we are all going to be ok with Health Reform after the 2012 election reather than the mid-terms coming up in November.
The reason is once the GOP, or Tea Party takes control away from the Democrats this fall, an attempt to repeal any part or all of the Healthcare bill will be vetoed by Obama. The most that will happen is a stand still on the issue until 2012. Then we will see the Presidential nominee's campaign on the issue in hopes that America will vote for them.
And here is where we should see major change in the reform bill. I beleieve there will be a repeal of the bill but there must be something to change it to (you can't take us back to where we started from). And here is where we will see items that could change the costs of Healthcare here. Personally, I'd like to see tort reform, drug reform, and an expansion on programs like medicaid and medicare.
Who can tell. One thing for sure is that Americans got a big dose of BS from their government and are going to speak out about it. So take your warning now politicians. The american people know who you work for and they are going to demand justice and fair practice from their governing officials.
