Health Insurance For Kids

I get asked about health insurance for kids a lot and one of the main responses I give to customers is there is a wonderful option.  That option is BlueChoice for Kids.  This plan differs from BlueCross's individual plans where BlueChoice offers plans for individuals age 6 weeks to age 29.  Plans starting as low as 63.25 a month!

Health Insurance for Kids
This is a wonderful option for young adults as well.  Ages 19-29 need secure and reliable coverage now more than ever.  Where health insurance for kids leaves off, this picks right up for young adults.  All plans have low office visit copayments and tons of extras!

They even have low premiums and deductibles, prescription drug card, emergency care, annual eye exam and limited dental benefits.  If you need a quote just click here and let me know.  If you have children this is a great way to insure them and chances are it will be less than a family plan.  Health insurance for kids doesn't have to be complicated.

Health Insurance Gang

Here are the newest photos of the associates of the Alpine Agency. These were taken at Samos greek restaurant last week. They turned out pretty good. We should be using these to spice up our up and coming website.

Health Insurance Companies are Reform Proof

Here is the parent company of Carolina Care Plan (Medical Mutual of Ohio). What they claim is that they are Health Care Reform proof and evidence of that is that they do not answer to stockholder's and therefore the bottom line is not the deciding factor.

I personally like that approach and I think more companies should use it. Mutually owned insurance companies will have an added benefit here and I think we will see them rise above the others in the coming years.

Here is the link to there latest news release.

But don't take my word for it, do your own homework.

Purchase Life Insurance

What I find a lot of other folks asking right now is should I purchase life insurance?  And the answer most assuredly is yes!  Of course you should purchase life insurance.  One of the most effective ways to answer for high health care coverage is by getting an easy life insurance plan.  Now most folks my age are not that interested in life insurance because I guess they believe they will live for ever.

You may be able to get a 20 year term policy right now for as little as 10 dollars a month.  That is pretty inexpensive so you have no reason not to Purchase Life Insurance.  There is no reason not to have a policy on yourself to protect your wife, kids and other loved ones in case the worst should happen to you.

I just recently took out a policy on myself for my wife in the circumstance that something should befall myself, she will be the beneficiary of 50,000 dollars.  The younger you are the cheaper insurance will be so think about it now.  Call me for a quote and Go Purchase Life Insurance.

Temporary Health Insurance Coverage

One of the ways to avoid the high cost of health insurance coverage, is by getting temporary health insurance coverage.  My wife is a perfect example of this.  She, for some strange reason, isn't able to get health coverage from the dominant companies but we are in a transition period right now.  You see she was on a group plan, and since changing jobs she hasn't been able to get on another group plan with her new job.

We tried several times to get individual coverage with BlueCross and Carolina Care, but neither would accept her.  So now what we are doing is temporary health insurance coverage with Assurant Health insurance.  It is less expensive than an individual plan but it only lasts for 6 months.  My wife likes to call it train-wreck insurance although it works just like an individual plan.

It works out great because we do plan on getting her on a group plan with her job at some point in the near future but if she were to get into an accident or something tragic were to happen, then we'd have something to rely on.  I am excited to find temporary health insurance coverage option available to us.  Let me know if you have a need for temporary health insurance coverage.

For Kicks: The New Obama Music video

This is funny, I am not sure who made it but it reminds me of the NBA Finals commercials where they remix interviews into catchy songs.  Very Funny

Spoleto with the wife

Downtown tonight was great.  The weather was beautiful and it was the first time I had ever been to a Spoleto.  We saw two performances actually and I enjoyed both of them thoroughly.  The first was by a duo who called themselves "Doppelganger".  The acoustic band would allow the audience to choose a topic and would creatively sing impromptu.  The leader of the group put on a performance similar to Wayne Brady's and had us belting big laughs.

The second group to come up stole the show.  The Big Dicktionary which wasn't as vulgar as you might think, would start a scene and cleverly shift that scene to another.  I couldn't quite make out what the dictionary was for but the performance was incredible and I thought the actors had a blast which translated to a great time for us.

Overall I would recommend it to anyone.  I had a good time and laughed it up big.
